Let´s say we have a family, with one little boy and one little girl. When the girl have fallen down and hurt herself, we pick them up and give the comfort and say it is ok to cry. The little boy do the same and he cries, we treat the differently. Instead of picking them up, we say: “Stop crying, that wasn´t so bad, it will be over soon”. We tell them to not cry.
And the real question is. Why, do we treat them differently? That answer goes far way back, I guess…But I see a change in this, but it will take generations. And this is also a case why men don’t talk to other men (male friends) about feelings.
On the 1600's it was ok and a manly thing to cry, (males running around weeps like crazy). What happened after that? Interesting…
Will men lose their manhood if treated differently in the future? No way.
Some would say there would be more homosexuals among the males? No. I do not believe that’s the case at all, so give it up, if you have that conclusion. The thing is they have come a long way ahead to the point of dealing with their emotions.
